About Us
Regional Health & Family Welfare Training Centre Kangra at Chheb was established in the year 1993.The main aim of our institute is to provide need based training to in- service as well as new appointees and orientation to all categories of health functionaries to improve practical and managerial skills towards achieving State & National health goals.Our institute is one of the two training facilities under the department of Health and Family Welfare(Government of Himachal Pradesh),the other one being SIFWTC at Parimahal , Shimla.The RHFWTC Kangra caters to the training needs of doctors and other health professionals of six districts (Kangra, Chamba, Hamirpur, Una, Mandi & Kullu).

Aims and Objectives
Regional Health & Family Welfare Training Centre Kangra at Chheb provides need based training to in- service as well as new appointees and orientation and capacity building trainings to all categories of health functionaries to improve practical and managerial skills towards achieving State & National health goals.
Our Infrastructure
RHFWTC Kangra at Chheb campus is spread over 2.4 acres.
- Main Conference Hall :- with a sitting capacity of 60 participants and audio visual facility.
- Video Conference Hall :- with a sitting capacity of 30 participants.
- Class Room :- with a sitting capacity of 30 participants.
- Well Equipped Computer Lab.
Other In-house Facilities
Other Facilities provided in campus include :-
- Guest House :- with 16 double bedded well furnished rooms.
- Dormitory Accommodation for 50 participants.
- In-House kitchen with two dining halls.
- TV’s with cable connection in each room.
- Upcoming Skill Development Lab.

Road Map (How to Reach)
By Bus -: Regional Health & Family Welfare Training Centre Kangra at Chheb situated 1.5 Km from Kangra Bus Stand.It starts from Kangra bus stand towards SM Eye hospital (Zamnanabad Road) which 0.5 KM then toward National Institute of Fashion Technology Kangra which is 01 KM.
By Train-: The nearest major railway station is at Pathankot, 85 kilometers away. There is also a smaller railway station, Kangra Mandir, just 4 kilometers from our institute.
By Air-: The nearest airport is at Gaggal, about 10 kilometers away from Dharamshala. Gaggal airport connects Dharamshala to Delhi via Air India and Spice Jet flights.
